Program Notes:

According to legend, the Bigfoot (or Sasquatch) is a tall, hairy, ape-like creature that lives in the wilderness of Northwest America and leaves huge footprints. This piece imagines a group of them gathering together and stamping their massive feet in a wild, barbaric dance. It is said that the ground shakes so much during their stomping that the leaves are shaken from the trees.
