Arranged by the composer in 2015 from the original version for chamber orchestra. In three sections, each based on a different original "folk song".
Program Notes:
Folk Song Suite No. 2 was originally written for a chamber group consisting of flute, oboe, bassoon, french horn, trumpet, 2 violins, viola, cello, and double bass. In 2015, I did what I had been thinking about for quite a while and that was to arrange the piece for wind band. The melodies are not true folk songs but instead my version of folk songs.
