Program Notes:

The savage T-Rex, the lumbering huge four-legged sauropods and the gliding flying pteraosaurs are the characters in this fun piece for very young band. The sauropods open this piece and, at over 100 feet long and 100 tons, they are heavy and plodding. The pterosaur (which means winged lizard) floats effortlessly through the air getting a great view of the carnivores as they stalk their prey with their powerful and sudden attacks. Welcome to The Age of the Dinosaur.
