Program Notes:
This is the third of my four “Cityscapes” pieces which are inspired by my experiences in different cities. Each tries to capture my emotional responses to these experiences. Certain cities have an electric feeling. It’s in the air, on the peoples faces, in the music. It’s a feeling of joy and excitement that you just can’t shake.
