Program Notes:

The Odyssey is an ancient Greek epic poem written by the poet Homer. The poem is dated around 600 BC and tells of the events that befall the Greek hero Odysseus in his long journeys after the fall of Troy and when he, at last, returns home. This feeling of adventure and mystery has been captured in this original work set in three movements.
