Program Notes:
The squonk is a mythical forest creature that is so ashamed of its appearance that it hides from sight and spends much of its time crying. When cornered, it evades capture by dissolving into a pool of tears. However, on dark, moonless nights when no one is about, they gather together and sing and dance the Squonk Blues!
