Steffan Brunette

Steffan Brunette is a high school music educator, and department head of music in the York Region District School Board. He has also directed the Uxbridge Community Concert Band since 1992. His main interests in composition have been to involve students in the creative process (as evident in pieces such as The Shores of Simcoe and Don't Stop the Beat), and to bring solo opportunities to younger players through a series of "junior concertos" (such as Janus Waltz and Bone Dance).

Steffan's music is free to use, and he only asks for attribution in the concert programme and notification that his music is being performed. Please contact the composer if your instrumentation needs require additional parts; with advance notice, he will be happy to oblige!
